While the bottom fishing has come to an abrupt halt you can still drop crab & prawn traps and fish for the late run coho and Chinook before they take the spawning journey. To top it off the feeder Chinook will be showing up and multiplying. Great news is that many of the Chinook I caught recently have been undersize and clipped. Looks like the rain is holding off and any fish migrating to their spawning grounds will hopefully pool up near the rivers and creeks mouths. Last

September fishing was still producing Coho and Chinook. Most of my days were spent fishing Selma Park, Trail Islands and Davis Bay. Some of the coho were in the 8lb range and caught from 30' to 230' deep. A few times I had the line pulled out of my hand while setting the clip.
